Job Summary
The Human Resource Coordinator helps organize, coordinate and carry out all human resource department projects and processes. They will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of Human Resource transactions and Human Resources information System (HRIS) data. This includes transactions related to the full employee life cycle, including but not limited to hiring, indicative changes, status changes and terminations. Collects, reviews, and audits supporting documentation and advises on regulations, policies and guidelines, as needed.
This position is classified as hybrid and requires attendance on designated in-office days.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides customer service by responding to employee questions and inquiries. Responds to written and verbal inquiries for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information and/or refers inquiry to appropriate area. Identifies issues and recommends and/or implements remediation actions.
Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implements solutions and escalates issues or problems as needed. Assists or prepares correspondence as needed.
Responsible for the complete and accurate processing of employee life cycle transactions ensuring a high degree of data integrity.
Reviews for compliance with federal, state, employment and labor laws/regulations, as appropriate.
Maintains manual and electronic documents, files and records for the purpose of providing accurate information and in compliance with established guidelines. Scan any manual employee documents and/or file into the document repository.
Assist with the review and completion of unemployment claims, timely and accurately.
Identifies and participates in continuous improvement initiatives. Reviews and researches new ways to update/change processes for field or department to become more efficient.
Support TA department with recruiter/business interview scheduling, candidate communications, travel coordination, background check support, and by providing a seamless candidate experience with every interaction
Responsible for independent contractor hiring process
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School degree or GED
2+ years of office/business clerical environment experience
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft suite tools, specifically MS Excel.
Demonstrated ability to manage various tasks that require strong attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
HRIS experience (Workday preferred) and business process experience
Experience working in a hybrid work environment

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00-$26.00. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, peer and market benchmarks, and geographic location.
