Macquarie University is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Consultant to join our HR Business Partnering team during an exciting period of organisational transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative, high performing team supporting two of the University’s faculties.
This team is made up of Lead HRBPSs and HR Consultants, dedicated to supporting the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences and the Macquarie Business School. With a recently implemented new HR operating model, including setting up a new HR Shared Services function, the team is well set up for success and we’re looking for the right person to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
Reporting to the Lead HRBPs, you will provide hands-on strategic and advisory HR support to the University leaders and managers across both faculties. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely across the full team (Lead HRBPs and HR Consultant peers) collaborating on everything from complex case management through to workforce planning, reporting and faculty-specific initiatives.
You’ll also partner with our Centre of Expertise (including Capability, Culture & Inclusion, Employee Relations, and Talent Acquisition) and HR Shared Services to ensure seamless delivery of specialised services and efficient HR transactions.
