POSITION SUMMARY
The Recruiting Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation’s hiring process and ensuring a positive experience for each candidate. SSRC’s Recruiting team is a business partner to hiring managers and leadership and provides support and guidance throughout the hiring process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assists with the creation and posting of new and existing positions on Workday in collaboration with managers
Maintain a recruiting and human resource SharePoint for managers to access necessary documents, trainings, and FAQs related to hiring, onboarding, retaining and offboarding employees
Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and perform screening interviews, full-length interviews, reference checks, and maintain communication with candidates throughout the process
Manage Recruiting’s support inbox (Fresh Service); resolve and/or assign requests in a timely manner
Manage the overall J1 program and international employees including but not limited to the arrival, housing, departure, cultural trips, Social Security trips, orientations, performance management, offboarding, serve as a support liaison, etc.
Produce, edit, and upload social media content (videos, photos, and other multimedia products)
Assist with the overall H2B program and international employees
Attend job fairs and hiring events to encourage potential applicants to consider applying to SSRC
Assist with developing standard operating procedures for recruitment processes and process improvements when appropriate
Communicate professionally and in a timely fashion with applicants and managers
Work with Alterra Recruiting to prioritize and manage external postings
Ensure positive, professional, enthusiastic representation of company and Human Resources and demonstrate support of company mission, standards and values
Stay current on recruiting knowledge and industry trends and comply with all federal, state and local hiring laws
Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations to ensure a fair and equitable process for all candidates
Helps maintain relationships with outside recruiting partners and vendors such as colleges/universities, employment agencies, external recruiters, etc.
Maintain confidentiality regarding all employees, applicants, and HR business
Other duties and projects as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of previous work history/education required
Previous administrative experience managing many different tasks at once in a busy environment required
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams as well as other relevant software platforms required
2+ years of recruitment experience in a professional office setting preferred
Experience in the ski industry and/or hospitality industry preferred
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); experience with Workday preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manage people, process, and resources
Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and problem solving
Demonstrates excellent attention-to-detail and accurate data-entry skills and abilities
Able to communicate in an effective and timely manner over the phone, in-person, and in written communication
Adapts and flexes to changing business circumstances across a season, a fiscal year, and/or multiple years; Exhibits willingness to change
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with SSRC’s Service Excellence standards.
Position may require occasional overnight or day travel
Valid driver’s license and can meet SSRC’s minimum driving standards
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
College graduate, preferred
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Read, write and communicate in English in a clear and professional manner
Must sit and operate keyboard for long periods of time, as well as additional office machinery such as phones, copier, and printer
Must be able to ski/snowboard at an intermediate level
