  • Assist in monitoring changes in employment laws and regulations.

  • Assist in driving compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidance.  

  • Prepares and files compliance reports as required by law (EEO-1, VETS-4212, and Affirmative Action Plans (AAP)).

  • Conduct regular Quality Controls (QCs) to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

  • Support key processes and system updates across internal/external stakeholders

  • Updates core HCM System (Workday) as needed with documentation and process updates; ability to pull reports and key data as requested

  • Provide training, as needed to HR team on various compliance related initiatives.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert resource for HR team on HR compliance topics.

  • Identify potential HR compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and audits.

  • Ensure proper documentation of HR compliance programs and activities.

  • Ability to work across HR and other departments to ensure compliance with all applicable state(s) laws.

  • General Knowledge of Risk Management Programs.

  • General Knowledge of Business Continuity Programs.

  • Basic understanding of Risk Control Self-Assessment and identifying risk and controls within HR functions.
