Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Human Resources organization. This HRBP will be responsible for implementing our human capital strategy in support of geographically dispersed clients. This is an on-site role and can be located in Palmdale, CA with occasional travel required.
Essential Functions:
Implement Human Resources policies as a generalist, partner with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives and resolve HR issues.
Responsible for and/or serve as a HR liaison for the following areas, but not limited to: succession planning, talent management, employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and training and development.
Serve as the business partner and consultant to internal client groups to help build organizational capability in order to meet sector and strategic goals.

This requisition may be filled at either an HR Business Partner level or a Principal HR Business Partner level.
Basic Qualifications: Human Resources Business Partner:
Bachelor’s degree AND 2 years of Human Resources experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Ability to support multiple shifts/time zones as determined by business need
Basic Qualifications: Principal Human Resources Business Partner:
Bachelor’s degree AND 5 years of Human Resources experience OR a Master’s degree AND 3 years of Human Resources experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Ability to support multiple shifts/time zones as determined by business need
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in prioritizing the workday, balancing multiple projects and working across multiple deadlines
Proficiency in Workday
Previous HR experience in Aerospace & Defense and/or in a manufacturing environment
Current and active DoD clearance
