Position Overview
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will work closely with business leaders and employees to align people strategy with business objectives. The role focuses on talent management, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and HR governance, acting as a strategic and operational HR partner to assigned business units.Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Partnership
Partner with business leaders to understand business goals and translate them into effective people strategies.
Act as a trusted advisor on organization design, team effectiveness, workforce planning, and talent decisions.
Drive manager capability and accountability through coaching and consultation.
2. Employee Relations (ER) & Compliance
Manage employee relations cases including grievances, conduct issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal HR governance frameworks.
Partner with ER/Legal teams on sensitive cases, investigations, and statutory requirements.
Promote a culture of fairness, transparency, and inclusion.
3. Performance & Talent Management
Drive performance management processes (goal setting, reviews, calibration, improvement plans).
Support identification and development of high‑potential employees.
Enable career development discussions, succession planning, and internal mobility.
Partner with L&D on capability‑building interventions.
4. Staffing & Workforce Planning
Support hiring managers in bringing the right talent.
Ensure adherence to hiring governance, approvals, and cultural fitment standards.
Analyze workforce data to anticipate talent needs, attrition risks, and skill gaps.
5. Employee Engagement & Culture
Drive employee engagement initiatives and action planning based on survey insights.
Support change management initiatives (reorgs, leadership changes, policy rollouts).
Addressing employee concerns proactively and promote a positive employee experience.
Act as a culture champion aligned with organizational values.
6. HR Analytics & Data
Monitor key HR metrics such as attrition, performance trends, engagement scores, and ER patterns.
Maintain accurate documentation and records in HR systems and trackers.
Provide insights and dashboards to leadership for informed decision‑making.
Required Skills & Competencies
Functional Skills
Strong understanding of HRBP model, ER practices, performance management, and talent lifecycle
Working knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance
Experience partnering with mid‑to‑senior stakeholders
Behavioral & Core Competencies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High emotional intelligence and conflict‑handling capability
Ability to influence without authority
Structured thinking and problem‑solving approach
Confidentiality, integrity, and sound judgment
Qualifications
MBA / Master’s in HR or equivalent qualification
4–6 years of progressive experience in Business Partnering
Exposure to fast‑paced, matrixed environments is an added advantage
Role requires to work in the day or afternoon shift
Preferred Experience (Good to Have)
ER case handling and disciplinary processes
Supporting KPA, engineering, or large operations teams
Managing change and engagement initiatives
HR analytics or dashboard exposure
