Join our Human Resources team in Hong Kong as a HR Business Partner, supporting the APAC region and partnering closely with our technology business. In this role, you will collaborate with HR colleagues across locations, HR subject matter experts, and third-party vendors to support the business and deliver effective, forward-thinking HR solutions.
Your future role at QRT
- Provide HR advice and coaching to employees and offer a strategic partnership with managers on day-to-day matters, onboarding, and team growth, ensuring organisational effectiveness across all stages of the HR lifecycle
- Manage complex HR matters, including hiring-related issues and employee relations cases such as performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes, dismissals, complaints, and occupational health matters
- Oversee onboarding delivery, including complex contract queries and ensuring compliant and effective onboarding processes
- Administer employee benefits and statutory requirements, including regulatory compliance, benefits reviews, renewals, benchmarking, and employee enquiries
- Support annual performance management and year-end compensation processes, including coaching managers and employees where required and facilitating impactful feedback conversations, ensuring alignment with distinct goals and strategic priorities of the business
- Contribute to HR projects and broader people initiatives
- Partner with third parties on legal, immigration, tax, and relocation matters
- Maintain accurate HR systems and data
- Maintain and update the Employee Handbook, Benefits Handbook, and HR policies and procedures
- Promote knowledge-sharing and skill development within the HR team and global HR team supporting the core tech division, fostering a culture of growth, innovation and best-in-class practice
Your present skillset
- Solid Human Resources experience in a matrixed global organisation would be preferred
- In-depth knowledge of employment law across the APAC region with hands on experience navigating complex cases
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Commercial, innovative approach to HR business partnering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems; Workday experience is a plus
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to prioritise effectively, take ownership, work independently, and communicate professionally and collaboratively across all levels
- Collaborative and able to work across an international environment, proactively contributing and supporting other colleagues in delivering a streamlined and conjoined HR service for the business
