Job Type:6-9 month internship, minimum 4 days per week 

About the Role: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Benefits Intern to support our Benefits Manager in the Netherlands and UK. As a Benefits Intern, you will play a key role in assisting with employee communications and engagement and data management. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Compensation and Benefits and develop your skills in a dynamic and international environment. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain an employee communications calendar for the Netherlands, including creating engaging templates and content 

  • Update and maintain the SharePoint and Benefits Portals sites, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible 

  • Review and update policy documents, ensuring compliance and accurate storage 

  • Support the creation of a comprehensive overview of all benefits in the UK and NL, including descriptions of each benefit, vendor information and policy details 

  • Assist in developing new onboarding materials for new hires, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of our employee benefits 

  • Support the development of HR Business Partner training materials to keep HR teams knowledgeable about our employee benefits 

  • Support with responding to basic employee queries regarding their benefits, providing excellent customer service and escalating complex issues to the Benefits Manager as needed 

  • Support the Benefits Manager with invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of benefits-related invoices 

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field related to HR, Compensation, or Rewards 

  • Availability to work a minimum of 4 days per week 

  • Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to work with simple Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs 

  • Experience working with SharePoint and confident PowerPoint user 

  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills 

  • Curious and proactive approach to problem-solving 

  • Ability to simplify complex issues and develop pragmatic solutions
