Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other perks.

  • Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations accurately and in compliance with policies and regulations.

  • Serve as the primary contact for benefits-related queries, assisting employees with benefits information, eligibility, and issue resolution.

  • Guide employees through benefits enrollment processes, addressing concerns, and providing support as needed.

  • Collaborate with benefits providers, vendors, and carriers to facilitate benefits administration, resolve discrepancies, and ensure service quality.

  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors to optimize services, troubleshoot problems, and enhance employee satisfaction.

  • Ensure benefits programs adhere to legal requirements, such as ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA, and internal compliance standards.

  • Maintain accurate benefits records, prepare compliance reports, and assist with audits as necessary.

  • Assist in developing benefits communication materials, presentations, and guides to educate employees on available benefits options.

  • Conduct benefits orientation sessions, open enrollment meetings, and workshops to enhance benefits awareness and understanding.

  • Maintain benefits data integrity in HR systems, track benefits usage, and generate reports for analysis and decision-making.

  • Analyze benefits utilization trends, employee feedback, and metrics to recommend improvements and enhancements to benefits programs.

  • Organize benefits enrollment events, fairs, and information sessions to engage employees and promote benefits participation.

  • Coordinate open enrollment activities, communicate deadlines, and provide support to employees during enrollment periods.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in benefits administration, HR shared services, or a related HR function.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.

  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office suite, and benefits administration tools.
