Role Purpose

As part of the Global Colleague Experience function, the HR Associate serves as the first point of contact for HR enquiries and transactional requests. This role is responsible for delivering efficient, accurate, and customer‑focused HR operational support across the employee lifecycle.

The HR Associate applies strong knowledge of HR processes and systems, works collaboratively with global HR colleagues, and contributes to providing a consistent and positive employee experience.

Our mission is to deliver a best‑in‑class HR service that supports the HR Service Delivery model and improves colleague and candidate journeys through streamlined systems and processes. We partner closely with HR colleagues and the business to problem‑solve, advise, and enable seamless HR operations.

This entry‑level role is well suited for someone looking to start or grow their career in HR, offering hands‑on experience across a broad range of foundational and transactional HR activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned pre‑boarding activities to ensure a smooth and positive new‑hire experience

  • Act as the first point of contact for new hire and employee HR enquiries

  • Triage, resolve, and escalate requests through the ServiceNow portal, in line with SLAs

  • Maintain accurate and complete employee data to support reporting, compliance, and audits

  • Support the administration of employee benefits

  • Collaborate with Finance to support the accurate and timely processing of payroll

  • Complete required compliance activities and audits in accordance with internal and regulatory standards

  • Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of Colleague Experience processes, tools, and documentation

  • Partner with HR colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation to build strong, trusted relationships

  • Monitor personal performance to ensure delivery against team SLAs and KPIs

About You

  • Previous experience supporting HR transactional or operational activities

  • Experience using Workday (desirable) or similar HR systems

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within local and global HR teams

  • A customer‑focused mindset with a strong commitment to delivering excellent service

  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative, resourcefulness, and sound judgment

  • Working knowledge of HR operations and understanding of relevant local statutory requirements

  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to query and analyse data

  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively

  • Comfortable managing multiple requests and competing priorities, with strong attention to detail

  • A continuous learner who stays current on HR trends, statutory updates, and best practices

We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.

While this is expected to be a full-time role, part-time or flexible working arrangements will be considered. Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
