Job Description:

TD Securities is looking for an HR Generalist at the Associate level to support our HR Business Partner team aligned to our Global Markets business groups. In this role, you will work on human capital initiatives including performance management, talent development, and year-end processes. This role is a unique opportunity to become part of a team of strategic Human Resource professionals dedicated to serving our clients in all aspects of their day-to-day needs. The person who holds this position will act as a key contact for a global, front office client group and have exposure to all areas of Human Resources.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
 

  • Day-to-day support of specific business HR priorities, including handling general HR questions, coordinating learning and development and diversity initiatives, and managing a variety of HR processes.
  • Project manage planned and ad-hoc activities for the Global Markets Team
  • Assist on employee relations issues.
  • Complete exit interviews and support colleague retention strategies
  • Support the year-end compensation process.
  • Manage the Performance Evaluation Process, including ownership of all aspects of the mid-year 360 process, as well as assisting managers in documenting and communicating performance feedback.
  • Coordinate the Business Unit promotion process, including creating eligibility rosters, collecting nomination forms and coordinating roundtables.
  • Liaise with various areas of HR, including compensation, data, benefits, operations and the HR Service Center.
  • Work directly with compensation and data teams on a variety of human capital data requests, including headcount reporting, attrition metrics and RFP requests.
  • Identify and execute career development opportunities, partnering with the learning and development team.
  • Drive the business diversity agenda forward, partnering with the business and the diversity and inclusion team.
  • Analyze results from our annual employee survey and collaborate with the business to advise on possible solutions or new initiatives.


EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Experience in junior HR generalist related HR function: 3–5 years of appropriate professional experience.
  • Financial Services industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • A strong client focus with outstanding judgment, critical thinking, verbal and written skills.
  • Resourceful and team oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop relationships with employees at different levels.
  • An analytical mindset including a proficiency in analyzing, organizing and using data.
  • Workday knowledge a plus.
  • Strong technical skills, including fluency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage long-term projects while effectively addressing day-to-day responsibilities.
