HR Associate - Fixed Term One Year Contract

What this job involves:

  • Work with the team to prepare and disseminate employment offer for all prospective employees. Handles end-to-end onboarding formalities which includes but not limited to distribution of IT assets, HR inductions, enrolment of benefits. 

  • Manage all work pass related process (application, renewal, or cancellation) and attend to all related queries. 

  • Maintain up-to-date employee personnel files, employee database and organization chart.

  • Draft employment documents including contracts, addendum letters, confirmation letters, promotion and salary changes letters that are deemed necessary at any given time. 

  • Manage employees end of probation process which includes maintaining a proper tracker, issuance of confirmation letters and escalate any extension of probation to HR in-charge. 

  • Administer employee benefits, rewards and recognition program such as enrolment under group medical insurance and flexible benefits. Facilitate in information gathering and launch of new benefits or initiative by the in-country HR. 

  • Resolving transactions and queries – both simple queries and complex queries, related to core HR processes, will be your key responsibility. This will involve escalating complex and unresolved queries to appropriate owners or specialists, who may be inside or outside of HR. Likewise, you’ll provide technical query resolution for Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service requests.  

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify procedures or process gaps and develop solutions for improvements to create efficiency and increased productivity. 

  • Develop an understanding on how the function impacts business success and delivering high standard of work to meet and exceed internal client expectation; building meaningful internal client relationship. 

  • Any other support needed within the APAC HR team.

Qualification and Experience:

  • A recognized diploma or degree in Human Resources or any related field is the minimum that you should have, preferably along with 1 – 2 years of experience in a corporate HR generalist or client services.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, exception Excel skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint experience a plus).

  • Exposure to HRIS systems and reporting skills, Workday a plus.
