An exciting opportunity has arisen within the WPP HR team for an HR Advisor/People Partner on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional HR services and support to our dynamic Enterprise Technology (ET) division, championing an outstanding employee experience.

What you'll be doing:

As an HR Advisor/People Partner, you'll report to the Senior People Partner and be a pivotal member of our HR team supporting the Enterprise Technology (ET) function. You will provide essential HR partnership, guiding managers and employees through all people-related matters while actively contributing to our strategic People priorities. This role offers the unique chance to both directly support our people and drive critical transformation projects across ET.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Advising & Supporting: Act as a trusted advisor, responding to daily HR queries and providing expert guidance to managers on diverse people-related issues, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Building Relationships: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key HR and business stakeholders globally.
  • Driving Insights: Utilise HR analytics to uncover valuable insights and formulate data-driven recommendations.
  • Leading Change: Play an active part in the delivery of significant people transformation programmes.
  • Innovating Solutions: Partner with our Centres of Excellence to create cutting-edge solutions for people management and strategic business decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the People function by streamlining processes and aligning practices across the broader WPP People team.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide vital support to the wider People team and Senior People Partners as required.

What you'll need :

  • Comprehensive HR Acumen: Demonstrated broad understanding and practical experience across various HR disciplines.
  • Project Delivery Expertise: Proven ability to successfully deliver HR projects within a dynamic environment.
  • Data Literacy: Proficiency in working with, interpreting, and drawing insights from HR data.
  • Leadership & Influence: Experience in leading projects and building strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Effective Query Resolution: Ability to accurately direct HR queries to the appropriate team or individual, and proactively seek support when necessary.
  • HR Focus & Knowledge Sharing: A dedicated HR professional committed to continuous learning and sharing expertise.
  • Legal & Compliance Insight: Solid understanding of employment legislation and its practical implications for business operations.
