HP UKI Marketing Data Planner & Analyst
Description -
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Date Planner & Analyst to join the UKI Marketing team. This role will report to the UKI Marketing Director and span the full breadth of portfolio (Print, PS and HPS) and all GTM Segments. Core responsibilities will include building and managing marketing funnel dashboards designed to support performance optimisation, owning executive ready visualisation of performance/trends, and translating data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in data visualization with strong business acumen to help drive informed marketing and investment decisions. You will partner closely with Data Science, Martech, WW and Market Marketing and GBU/CO Analyst community to standardise and unify data sources, reporting structure and views.
Responsibilities:
B2B Funnel Performance Management
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize marketing funnel dashboards (Lead generation → pipeline → revenue)
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across Product Lines, campaigns, channels, and segments.
- Develop an approach that enables an attainment vs target view aligned with weekly/monthly/quarterly seasonality
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across systems (e.g., Salesforce Platform, Microsoft Dynamics, Databricks).
- Architect an appropriate SMB solution spanning SMB Managed and Unmanaged
Consumer/Print/SMB
- Develop and standardize reporting solution for Print and CPS inclusive of Share of Search, MROI/MRC/ROAS in harmony with existing WW tools/process
- Architect an appropriate SMB solution spanning SMB Managed and Unmanaged
Data Planning
- Parter with ABM lead and Commercial leads to identify target audience/accounts to expand Marketing Generated Revenue
- Lead the delivery of target lists with Data Science ensuring appropriate hygiene and suppression criteria
- Ensure up to date account information is pulled into reporting infrastructure
- Support ABM and Commercial teams in creating views for Sales to review and approve lists
Performance Reviews & Reporting
- Partner with business planners and initiative leads to enable regular performance reviews and variance analysis.
- Prepare executive-ready reports highlighting funnel health, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities or risks in marketing contribution to pipeline and revenue.
- Join data from multiple sources to show holistic performance across initiatives, channels, marketing motions and Route-To-Market.
- Develop and lead performance forums to highlight actions
Data Insights & Visualization
- Translate complex data sets into clear, compelling insights and recommendations.
- Build visualizations (dashboards, scorecards, presentations) that communicate marketing performance to stakeholders within Marketing org and other non-marketing
- Support ad hoc analysis to answer strategic business questions.
Collaboration & Enablement
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Strategy teams to align metrics and definitions.
- Enable business stakeholders by simplifying analytics into digestible, decision-oriented insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Economics, or related field (Master’s a plus).
- Proven experience in B2B marketing analytics, marketing operations, or business analysis.
- Strong skills in data visualization tools (Power BI or google analytics).
- Proficiency in SQL coding, Excel and familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, HubSpot, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distil data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate data for non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
