Description -
HP is looking for a true technical and strategic leader to join our team as a Principal Pre-sales Technologist and be the lead technical champion for the HP Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) and its corresponding solutions.
WXP is our cloud-based enterprise solution that helps organizations move from reactive IT to a proactive, user-centric approach. In this role, you will be responsible for building deep client relationships, communicating the immense value of our proposed solutions, and directly contributing to revenue growth. You will partner with stakeholders from the C-suite to the engineering teams, influencing their business and technology decisions by designing and evangelizing WXP as their core strategic platform.
Strategic & Technical Evangelism
Articulate the "Why": Masterfully position the WXP value proposition, demonstrating how its AI-powered predictive analytics and actionable insights drive down costs, strengthen security, and improve employee productivity.
Command the Room: Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and Proof-of-Value (POV) sessions to executive and technical audiences.
Own the Technical Proposal: Prepare and lead the technical responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring the proposed solution perfectly aligns with the client's business and technical needs.
Showcase the Platform: Be the definitive expert in core WXP features, including:
DEX Scoring: Explaining how the Experience Score (0-100) is derived from both user sentiment and deep device telemetry (System Health, OS, Security, Network, Apps).
Deep Diagnostics: Illustrating how to find the "needle in the haystack" for issues like Blue Screen errors, battery health, and application performance.
Automation & Remediation: Demonstrating the power of the Script Gallery and custom automation to resolve issues at scale.
Consultative & C-Level Engagement
Act as a Trusted C-Level Advisor: Forge deep, strategic relationships with executives and senior stakeholders, becoming the indispensable partner they turn to for advice on AI-driven decision-making and modern workforce strategy.
Partner with Sales: Work closely with the sales team, providing them with the critical technical insights and guidance required to effectively position our solutions and win deals.
Engage All Key Buyers: Build trust and tailor your message to the specific needs of diverse stakeholders:
Infrastructure Managers: (Focus on automation, cost reduction, and efficiency).
DEX Leads: (Focus on sentiment tracking, "silent suffering," and Smart Refresh insights).
Security Architects: (Focus on BIOS security, compliance, and firmware automation).
ESG Program Managers: (Focus on power usage metrics and sustainability dashboards).
Solution & Implementation Leadership
Lead Complex Solution Design: Handle unique and complex customer challenges with creative problem-solving, architecting innovative solutions that integrate WXP into their existing ecosystem.
Plan for Growth: Identify the long-term growth path and scalability options for every solution. You will generate a comprehensive implementation plan, identifying potential challenges and mitigating risks.
Manage the Handoff: Oversee the implementation of the proposed solution, ensuring a smooth and successful transition from the sales cycle to the deployment and operations teams.
Assure Security & Compliance: Clearly articulate WXP's adherence to global standards (ISO 27001, SOC2 Type2) and address complex data privacy and residency requirements (e.g., EU, Switzerland).
Market & Team Leadership
Drive Thought Leadership: Contribute to high-impact initiatives by writing technical whitepapers, creating articles, or speaking at industry conferences to establish HP's expertise.
Be the "Voice of the Customer": Conduct market research to identify new trends and customer pain points. You will capture and communicate this feedback to Product Management and Engineering to ensure our platform continues to lead the market.
Mentor the Team: Provide active guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them develop both their technical acumen and their consultative selling skills.
