HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

  • You will review various inspections of community rental property to determine adequacy, habitability, and suitability as a listing for referral
  • You will serve as a point of contact for all housing stakeholders including Installation and Command leadership, and resident and property management to ensure effective and efficient coordination on issues.
  • You will determine requirements and manages all resources used in support of assigned housing facilities and infrastructure, including personnel, facilities, funds and materials.
  • You will serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), responsible for day-to-day management of contracts supporting housing functions as required or appointed.
  • You will represent the organization in installation level meetings and/or at various conferences and meetings with local officials and other federal, state, or legal organizations concerning current housing programs

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing / interpreting a wide variety of housing issues and formulating policy or procedural solutions, utilizing written and oral communication to enforce housing regulations, requirements, policies. Developing resources to manage equipment, fixtures, and furnishings.
