The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Host Security Manager to join the team in Seattle, WA; Hazelwood, MO; or North Charleston, SC. 

We are seeking a Host Security Manager to lead a highly skilled team to the design, deployment, and ongoing protection of host-based security controls across a wide variety of hosts (servers, databases, virtual instances, etc.). The ideal candidate will own host hardening, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, configuration management to reduce attack surface and ensure secure, compliant operations.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages and integrates employee activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis

• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

• Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience working with technical infrastructure configurations such as servers, databases, networks, development environments, services and software

• 5+ years of experience in configuration management of security tools for vulnerabilities and asset tracking

• 5+ years of experience within an Information Security domain

• 5+ years of experience leading or managing a technical project or team

• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

Summary pay range: $140,250 – $203,550
