What We Are Looking For:
The Hospitality Events Manager works with the Sr. Events Manager and larger event team to engage prospects, customers and partners through bespoke in person and virtual hospitality events, and may also support the events team with all other types of events (trade shows, webinars, virtual events, partner events, customer events, user group events). They will be responsible for working across teams to drive the concepts and content, as well as invite strategy, for hospitality and thought leadership events. They will organize multiple events per month, driving new leads & opportunities, supporting existing business, building customer and prospect relationships and building brand and product awareness. Goals will be directly tied to opportunities created from the events this individual plans and owns strategy for. They will own event reporting and be responsible for the active tracking of events and quarterly reporting.
What You'll Do:
- Help plan and develop Bandwidth’s hospitality events strategy, execution and schedule, ensuring it drives revenue pipeline to help meet set marketing annual goals, while keeping each event at or under budget.
- Creatively source global venues and vendors for unique hospitality events, dinners, and thought leadership events of varying budgets to meet specific sales goals. Regularly brainstorm and propose new events while executing on active events being planned.
- Project manage all elements of each event from concept to completion using Monday.com to build an event plan that assigns tasks and elements to other members of the larger marketing team, including concept messaging, event promotion, social, landing page development, design elements, etc.
- Work alongside sales and field marketing to develop attendee goals and invite lists.
- Work closely with legal department for careful review and approval of proposed events.
- Work to elevate events with unique touches and stand out experiences, no matter the size or budget.
- Work with internal teams to coordinate executive event involvement and external VIP speaker coordination; manage scheduling executive attendance, as well as rehearsal schedules for speakers.
- Own reporting for all events they manage or oversee including campaign creation and lead list management. Measure and report on revenue impact and ROI quarterly. Review reporting to adapt event strategy to remove under performing event styles and vendors and maximize top producers to increase revenue pipeline created.
- Work with email automation team, ad team, social team, customer engagement team, field marketing team and web team to recommend and implement tactics to drive event registration and post event engagements.
- Regularly meet and communicate with the field marketing team to ensure sales is trained on expected and effective lead follow up in a timely manner.
What You Need:
- Education:
- Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar marketing role for a fast-growing B2B technology company.
- Knowledge:
- Deep knowledge of hospitality event planning
- Experience working in the Fortune 500 space preferred, as well as marketing to the finance and banking vertical space is preferred.
- Skills:
- Event Planning, Project Management, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Monday.com, Salesforce experience.
