  • Employment Term: Part-time (4 days a week) maximum-term until 30 June 2028

  • Location: Red Hill

  • Remuneration: $51 p/h + super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Please note this is a part-time, maximum-term until 30 June 2028 opportunity offering 60.8 hours per fortnight based out of our Red Hill location.  

Your part in our UnitingCare team   

We are seeking people who have a strong level of experience within the homelessness and housing sector to work alongside our partners within government and community settings. 

The role will be varied with an emphasis on providing tailored training workshops and sector building initiatives to address the housing needs of our partner organisations and community members.

The Housing Consultant will share expertise through a peer mentoring support framework.  Shared knowledge will assist partners to provide solution based housing pathways.  Case conferencing and stakeholder meetings will occur regularly to support partnering agencies and their clients living with disabilities.

In this role you will:

  • support clients to secure appropriate housing options, including crisis, transitional, and long-term housing.

  • support government and community sector partners with training, mentorship and advice for housing outcomes

  • work with housing providers to ensure reasonable accommodations and tenancy sustainment strategies are in place.

  • support collaboration amongst community services and disability supports through case conferencing and stakeholder meetings.

What makes a difference for us? 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Disability, or related field with housing sector experience.

  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

  • NDIS Worker screening check

  • Current Drivers Licence.
