The DCX Home Based Estimator work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by our client.
The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Role Details
Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA)
Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient
Salary Range: PHP 50,000.00 - 54,000.00
Job Responsibilities
Prepare accurate, detailed estimates for reconstruction, mitigation, smoke damage, structural cleaning and contents losses using Xactimate and Claims Connect
Ensure estimates align with carrier and TPA guidelines, if applicable
Continuously update estimates based on scope changes and supplements
Identify all necessary repairs, code requirements, and potential supplements early in the process
Submit estimates, revisions, and required documentation within required timelines
Communicate proactively with adjusters and TPA representatives
Collaborate with project managers, mitigation teams, and coordinators to ensure scope accuracy
Upload and manage all documentation within TPA portals and internal systems
Working knowledge of MICA and how it relates to the mitigation process
Performs other tasks analogous to the foregoing.
Additional Job Requirements
Education: Associate degree in Construction Management, Estimating, Engineering, or similar field and/or equivalent experience
Construction experience in the field, including exposure to materials management and project operations
Ability to read, understand, and estimate from plans
Strong decision-making, planning, and problem-solving skills
Organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Positive and professional attitude with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communications
Familiarity with building/estimating techniques and software platforms, such as ISqFt, Building Connected, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, Bluebeam/PDF, PlanGrid, Procore, Xactimate, Claims Connect, MICA and similar softwares
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Ability to sit for extended periods of time using a computer and reading plans/specifications.
