The Lourie Center, Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Home Based Coach who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As the Home Based Coach, you will:
• Implement, monitor, and facilitate key components of Practice Based Coaching with Home Visitors.
• Observe each home visitor staff at least twice a month using the HOVRS A+ tool and provide feedback to staff after the observations.
• Plan and coordinate 22 group socialization events yearly with the Home-Based team. Ensure that they follow Head Start Performance Standards and PAT curriculum components that support parent involvement and age-appropriate child learning experiences.
• Coordinate with Home Based Operations Manager scheduling of Parent Committee meetings during group socializations.
• Attend relevant trainings (PAT, PBS, COS, among others) and remain current on child development, PAT curriculum and home visiting practices.
• Plan and deliver Circle of Security groups to Home Based families at a minimum 2 times a year, with a cofacilitator.
• In partnership with Home Based Service Operations Manager, contribute to develop professional development plan for home visitors to address needs and ensure quality improvement of skills of Home-Based Staff.

Qualifications include:
• Coaching/mentoring background or education
• Knowledge of Head Start Program and the Home-Based option
• Experience working with adult learners (preferred)
• Experience training and/or facilitating (preferred)
• Familiarity and experience with PAT, HOVRS, COS
• Strong organizational skills, with ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and multitask to work efficiently and effectively.
• BA in related field (education, child development, Human Services, Psychology or Social Work)
• Minimum of 2 years of Home Visiting experience
• Experience working with diverse socio-economic backgrounds, specifically low-income families.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Understands child and adult development ​

Work Schedule:

Full Time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Pay Range:

$48,360.00 - $67,704.00

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:

United States of America (Exempt)
