Home-Based Accounting Manager

The DCX Client Services - Home Based Accounting Manager will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by the company.  

The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

• Ability to work with little to no supervision. 

• Effective communication skills with a problem-solving attitude 

• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures 

Role Details 

• Industry: Finance 

• Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA) 

• Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA) 

• Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient 

• Salary Range: PHP 70,000 - 85,000 

Job Responsibilities
Client Accounting & Close Management  

• Oversee day-to-day accounting for assigned clients 

• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity 

• Manage and execute month-end and year-end close processes 

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records 

• Oversee AR/AP processes and cash flow reporting 

• Maintain organized and audit-ready accounting documentation 

Team Supervision & Review 

• Supervise and support bookkeeping and accounting staff 

• Review work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines 

• Provide coaching and guidance to improve team performance 

• Ensure consistency in accounting procedures across assigned clients 

• Assist with onboarding new clients and transitioning accounting records 

Financial Reporting 

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements 

• Ensure timely delivery of client reporting packages 

• Perform variance review and basic financial analysis 

• Respond to client questions related to financial reports 

Process & Compliance 

• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting best practices 

• Identify and implement workflow improvements within the accounting function 

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies 

• Support external tax preparers and auditors as needed 

Additional Job Requirements 

• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus but not required.
