Job Title:

HIH - Software Engineering Lead Analyst – SAP FTM (FSCM)

Position Overview:

The FTM Configuration & Analysis Advisor is responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA FTM processes. This includes deep engagement in financial accounting, closing, treasury, receivables, payables, invoice management, and revenue recognition processes. The advisor functions as a domain expert interacting with finance leadership, SAP product teams, developers, and global process owners.

We are looking for a seasoned SAP FTM Lead Analyst with 7+ years of experience in SAP FICO/FTM

Responsibilities:

SAP Functional Configuration & Delivery

  • Configure SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) and Finance-to-Manage capabilities including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Financial Close, Treasury/Banking, and Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR), with specialized focus on SAP FSCM Credit Management (credit risk, credit limits, credit exposure, check rules, and automation of credit release).
  • Lead FSCM Credit Management design for business partners: credit segment setup, risk categories/classes, scoring/creditworthiness, credit groups, automatic credit control, and customer master impacts (UKM* vs. classic FD32) in alignment with enterprise credit policy.
  • Define and test credit check integration with Order-to-Cash (SD) and FI-AR: configuration of credit check rules, document value/exposure updates, blocked order handling, credit release strategy, and monitoring via credit worklists and analytics.
  • Partner with Credit, Collections, and Billing teams to optimize AR outcomes, including credit hold reduction, dunning/collections handoffs, dispute prevention, and proactive risk mitigation using standardized KPIs and reporting.
  • Design and maintain global template standards, chart of accounts, financial controls, and intercompany processes.
  • Lead WRICEF functional design, testing, documentation, and deployment readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and financial governance requirements.
  • Provide IDoc/EDI integration support and configuration experience across finance and order management interfaces.

Cross‑Functional Integration

  • Ensure seamless integration across PTP, OTC, MM, SD, EWM, IBP, and external financial systems.
  • Coordinate FSCM Credit Management touchpoints with SD (order processing, deliveries, billing), FI-AR (open items, payments), and Master Data Governance to ensure accurate credit exposure, consistent credit decisioning, and clean customer/business partner data.
  • Coordinate with master data, tax, treasury, reporting, and analytics teams to ensure end‑to‑end alignment.

Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct root‑cause analysis; drive fixes for defects impacting financial accuracy.
  • Champion automation opportunities through workflow, RPA, machine learning, or standard SAP enhancements.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, validate designs, and support change‑management initiatives.
  • Build training materials and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.

Qualifications:

Education:

< >Any bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IS OR equivalent.7+ years SAP FI/CO configuration experience, including hands-on SAP FSCM Credit Management in S/4HANA (credit policy, segments, risk class/category, scoring, credit limits, exposure, and credit check/release).At least one full S/4HANA implementation.Skilled in financial postings, closing cycles, treasury, AP/AR, and financial integrations.Strong understanding of master data, cost allocation, intercompany flows, and tax impacts.Experience in life sciences, wholesale distribution, or regulated industries.SAP FSCM experience beyond credit management (e.g., collections/disputes integration) and familiarity with enhancements such as workflows, BAdIs, and Fiori-based credit analyst worklists.Experience with SAP Activate, SolMan, CPI, and financial reporting platforms.Agile/JIRA/Confluence experienceAnalytical rigor, financial domain expertise, excellent communication, and solution ownership.Work Hours:
