HIH - Financial Operations Senior Analyst

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for interpreting client contracts to identify performance guarantees and ensuring accurate data management.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for interpreting client contracts to identify performance guarantees and ensuring accurate data management. Key responsibilities include collecting and loading operational and non-operational metrics, maintaining the internal performance guarantee repository (SGR), and validating data integrity across multiple sources. The position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams such as IT, Operations, and Account Management to meet deadlines and deliver accurate results. Effective communication of requests, results, and issues is essential.

• Complete all assigned data loads accurately and timely as well as assigned QC of team member's data loads.
• Perform ongoing communication with Business and Operations regarding validity and accuracy of data inquiries.
• Clear and consistent communication with direct manager.
• Deliver asks within communicated timeframes and ensure that financial implications are explained clearly.
• Works under supervision through established procedures.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent PC skills with ability to utilize MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc) and Access.  Knowledge of SQL-writing and manipulating queries.
• Ability to organize and plan multiple projects.
• Ability to demonstrate self-initiative, work cross functionally to resolve issues as they occur.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently and independently.

Experience Required:

Qualified candidates will typically have 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting and system support.  Successful candidates will be high energy, self-starters with a focus on quality output and project delivery success.  Candidates must be excellent problem solvers and creative thinkers.

Experience Desired:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
• Desired Tool Experience: Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL proficiency
• Knowledge of PBM and healthcare industry preferred.
