Amentum is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Rigger to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. This position is reserved for Bahamian citizens only. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.
Essential Responsibilities:
Operate various Heavy Equipment and MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in support of the contract.
Includes on and offloading barge, range ships, rigging for crane lifts and various other construction equipment tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
High School education and valid CDL Class A driver's license required.
0-1 years of relevant experience.
Needs to have the ability to lift 75 lbs.
Must be able to obtain the required heavy equipment licenses per the NAVFAC P 300 and NAVSUP 538 within 3 months.
Must pass the required Crane Riggers course within 3 months.
Must be available for overtime hours as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating various heavy equipment and forklifts preferred.
Crane rigging experience preferred.
Haz-Mat endorsement preferred.
Tanker endorsement preferred.
