Job Description:

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment

  • Machine Inspections

  • Condition reporting

  • Machine cleaning

  • Full machine disassembly, and reassembly

  •  Component / part cleaning, component / part inspection and reconditioning

  • Verifying component / part reuse with reference to CAT reusability guidelines

  • Machine testing and adjusting

  • Interface with customers, product, and sales support

  • Working with supervisors on various tasks

  • Equipment and facility continuous improvements

  • Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment

  • Various related duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Certification (Heavy Equipment, Truck and Transport, Agriculture, Automotive)

  • Apprentices will be considered based on experience

  • Dedication to safety

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal

  • Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset

  • Previous complete machine rebuild will be considered an asset

  • Experience with SIS (Service Information System), ET and warranty systems considered assets

Note:

  • This position is located at our Regina branch on a 7x7 continuous shift

  • This position is for the Rebuilds team

  • A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
