Job Description

The Healthcare PMI Sales Head is responsible for leading our client growth strategy for the Institutional Client Group segment North America, driving revenue generation from sales wins while delivering an exceptional client experience. In partnership with the ICG Banking, Sales and Product organizations, the role is responsible to drive cross-product client solutions including integrated cash management (Payment / Merchant / Institutional), working capital and trade / cross-border solutions. The Healthcare PMI Sales Head is responsible for driving and supporting new client acquisition and wallet penetration across our ICG client base in this critical industry.

What you’ll be doing:

Support ICG client’s growth, working with Product, PMI Sales, and Relationship Managers partners to meet PMI clients’ specific needs for cash management and trade / cross-border. As the Healthcare PMI Sales Head, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing a client-centric strategy that drives increased market share, acquiring new ICG clients and client growth through the provision of value-added PMI products and an exceptional client experience.

• Leverage PMI Marketing and Data team to position PMI and best in class solutions for our clients

• Primary accountability for Healthcare PMI sales origination in partnership with the ICG Relationship Managers. Accountability for our NAM Healthcare PMI client revenue growth, client experience and a strong sales discipline and client engagement cadence.

• Alignment with ICG to drive growth across identified client opportunities in the Healthcare industry, working with product partners, to identify value propositions and new opportunities.

• Ensuring consistent, professional delivery of all sales management reporting and disciplines including account planning, calling intensity, lead generation and revenue ramp.

• Ensuring a consistent delivery of the broad PMI product suite to the Healthcare ICG Client Base that reflects the needs of this segment and that support an exceptional user experience.

What we are looking for:

• An experienced strategic leader who has strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A very disciplined approach to sales management and very relevant experience in Treasury & Trade Solutions. Ideally, having familiarity with the Commercial Bank segment.

• Building teams through attracting new talent, coaching and mentoring

• Build out HEALTHCARE industry specific content and expertise within the ICG sales teams. Developing HEALTHCARE industry specific solutions, partnering with our Product, Industry and Banking organizations.

• Demonstrate impact in fostering partnerships and collaboration

• Ability to build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding U.S Bank, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of direct senior leadership in leading and managing teams

• An accomplished Business Manager who understands well the PMI value proposition and has the ability to develop a plan for the Commercial Bank business that balances a go deeper (ETB) strategy with a go wider (NTB) targeted client acquisition program

• Proven track record of successfully managing a large and complex business

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong and demonstrated leadership skills managing a diverse team with the ability to motivate and influence and foster innovation

• Superior problem analysis/solving, interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Proven track record on delivering results, recognized for his or her client impact and execution skills

• Strong negotiation and influencing skills

• Adept at managing in a matrix organization

• Deep passion for talent development

Qualifications/Competencies:

• Undergraduate Degree, MBA preferred

• Exceptional leadership and management skills

• Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills; ability to conceptualize and execute on the business vision

• High level of personal integrity and interest in building the business in the region

• Ability to work with multiple organizations and stakeholders, including Senior Management

• Competent in allocating resources across multiple priorities with varying levels of complexity

• Propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to influence and build consensus

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $206,720.00 - $243,200.00
