Position Summary
You will lead health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) activities in Mexico. You will work closely with medical affairs, market access, regulatory, commercial and global HEOR colleagues. We value clear thinking, strong quantitative skills, and the ability to explain results to different audiences. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Design and deliver health economic and real-world evidence studies to support market access and reimbursement in Mexico.
- Develop and adapt cost-effectiveness, budget impact and other economic models for local submissions.
- Translate study results into clear reports, payer briefings, manuscripts and presentations for local stakeholders.
- Advise cross-functional teams on study design, analysis plans and interpretation of findings.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, academic partners and data providers.
- Influence global evidence plans so they reflect Mexico priorities and local decision-maker needs.
Why You?
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Bachelor degree or higher in health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, economics or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in HEOR, real-world evidence, epidemiology or health economics in industry, consultancy or research.
- Practical experience building economic or budget impact models for health technology assessment or reimbursement.
- Experience with observational study methods, systematic review, or meta-analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and a good level of English for collaboration with global teams.
- Solid project management skills and experience managing external partners.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience working with Mexican health systems, payers, or local real-world data sources.
- Hands-on skills in statistical or analytical software ( SAS, Python or similar).
- Prior publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at conferences.
- Experience engaging with payers, health technology assessment bodies, or government agencies in Latin America.
- Background in therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, respiratory or vaccines.
- Experience mentoring junior colleagues or leading small teams.
Work Arrangement
This role is hybrid. You will be expected to work on-site in Mexico for regular team meetings and stakeholder interactions. Specific on-site days will be agreed with your manager.
