Pricefox

Head of Product

Athens, Greece Full Time

About Us:

Pricefox is Greece's leading price comparison platform for insurance and energy. A platform with momentum, on the edge of something bigger.

Backed by international investors (Antenna Group and Samlino), growing year-on-year, and used by thousands every month to make better financial decisions.

We're in the middle of a deliberate transformation into a product-led company that operates and thinks at a European level. That means better systems, sharper UX, smarter use of data, and a product culture where the bar is genuinely high.

Our CEO is stepping back from the product function. The Head of Product role fills that seat — with full autonomy, proximity to business decisions, and real influence over where the company goes next.

Let’s start with the role:

We are currently looking for an ambitious Head of Product to lead the product function and help turn a fast-growing Greek platform into a product-led company with high standards. This is a role for someone who wants to build — and sees product as a direct driver of business growth.

What you'll own:

  • Product strategy & roadmap

Set direction across Product teams. Translate business goals into a coherent, sequenced roadmap. Be the person who decides what we build — and, equally, what we don't.

  • Growth & conversion ownership

Own the metrics that matter — conversion rates, customer acquisition, activation, and retention. Connect product decisions directly to revenue and margin. Product is a growth function, not a support one.

  • Product-led growth execution

Drive Pricefox's shift to PLG. Build the loops, onboarding, activation flows, and experimentation engine that turn users into long-term customers.

  • AI-first experimentation

Lead the adoption of AI tools across the product function — not as a trend, but as a disciplined habit. Build a team that experiments with what's available, extracts real value, and moves faster because of it.

  • Design & UX leadership

Own the design function and set the standard for what good looks like at Pricefox. Ensure UX is never an afterthought in a tradeoff conversation.

  • Data as a Product

Own the vision for how data becomes a product lever. Start by establishing clarity, ownership, and the right habits — then build the team over time as the function matures.

  • Stakeholder alignment

Work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Commercial Business Development, Operations, and Finance. Be the person who turns competing priorities into a clear, shared product direction.

  • Team & culture building

Develop a strong team. build a product culture with clear craft standards, honest feedback, and a genuine bias for outcomes over output.

What we're looking for:

Experience and qualities that matter for this role:

  • 5–10 years in product management, with meaningful time in a lead or player-coach role  — we weigh impact over tenure
  • A track record tied to business outcomes — conversion rate, activation, revenue, retention.
  • Product-led growth mindset. You've built or contributed to acquisition loops, onboarding flows, or activation experiments that reduced reliance on direct sales.
  • Technical fluency and data literacy. You can sit with an engineer and have a real conversation — about architecture tradeoffs, API constraints, or technical debt — without needing a translator. You're comfortable pulling your own data, reading a funnel, and forming a hypothesis before anyone builds a dashboard for you.
  • Stakeholder management across complex organisations. You've worked in environments where multiple business units compete for product attention — and you've learned how to listen well, build trust quickly, and still make a call.

Good to have:

  • Marketplace, fintech, or multi-sided SaaS platform experience
  • Experience building or scaling a data function
  • Practical experience with AI tools. You've used AI meaningfully in your work — not just experimentally, but as part of how you operate. You know which tools add real leverage and which ones create noise.

How this role operates:

We have high ambitions, and we try to operate accordingly, building high standards and a team that wants to get better. We're honest about the fact that we're still building that culture. This role is part of how we get there.

  • High ownership. You're trusted to make the call — and expected to own what comes next.
  • Low bureaucracy. No approval chains for decisions that should be yours to make.
  • Radical transparency. You'll know the numbers, the risks, and the real priorities — not the polished version.
  • Direct, kind feedback. We say what needs to be said and help each other grow personally and professionally.
  • Experimentation by default. We'd rather test and learn than debate and delay.

What you get:

  • Competitive salary
  • Performance bonus tied to company outcomes
  • Full private health insurance
  • A genuine seat at the company management table — strategy, hiring, budget
  • Real influence over the company's direction, not just the product backlog

The selection process:

  • Screening call with HR, 30 min. Context on the role, your background, and mutual fit.
  • Live Product Case interview, 90 min. Product thinking, leadership approach, and growth philosophy.
  • Final round, round table with two functional Heads, 60 min. Cross-functional alignment check.

A note on fit:

We're not looking for someone who ticks every box on this list. We're looking for someone with the character, the curiosity, and the track record to grow into every part of it.

If you've read this and feel genuinely excited, we'd love to hear from you.
