Overview

The Head of Producer Digital Platform will lead the end-to-end technology strategy, architecture and delivery of a modern digital ecosystem that empowers producers, agents and distribution partners.  This role will drive innovation, scalability and integrations across sales, servicing and engagement channels to enhance producer productivity and digital experience. 

As Head of Producer Digital platform, you will oversee a long-term strategic initiative dedicated to delivering a cohesive, integrated, and user-friendly digital experience for producers and agency management across both protection and wealth product lines.

This position reports directly to the Head of Distribution and Wealth Management Technology and collaborates with cross-functional partners to implement our strategic producer workspace and deliver leading digital capabilities that enhance FR productivity. In addition to these responsibilities, the role offers a unique opportunity to leverage artificial intelligence to further transform the producer’s experience. By utilizing AI-powered solutions such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and financial planning tools, you will enhance functionality across sales and service operations, tailor user engagement, and produce valuable insights to promote both business growth and operational efficiency. You Will:

  • Define, refine and execute the technology vision and roadmap for the producer platform in alignment with business and distribution strategy.
  • Lead architecture, engineering, DevOps, and data integration efforts to deliver a seamless, scalable, and secure platform experience. Workforce will be domestic, off/near shore, FTE and contract mix.
  • Partner with business, product management, and user experience teams to translate producer needs into digital capabilities that drive adoption and efficiency
  • Oversee platform modernization, API enablement, and integration with CRM, policy administration, Guardian eco system, and analytics systems. 
  • Ensure that the platform's implementation utilizes AI, foundational data and API standards to prevent the accumulation of future technology debt.
  • Establish and enforce engineering and security standards, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance across all digital assets.
  • Build and mentor high-performing engineering and architecture teams, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendor partnerships, technology budgets, and resource planning to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Measure and report platform health, adoption, and business impact to inform continuous
  • Provide leadership, monitor competitor activities and industry developments, and assess new technologies for recommendation.
  • Ensure that technology solutions effectively meet present challenges and business requirements, while also being optimally structured to scale and accelerate time to market for future feature enhancements.
  • Foster an environment that promotes digital innovation, continuous growth, and ongoing development.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information systems or related field
  • 10 + years of successful experience executing large-scale initiatives and leading development projects with teams of 25 or more professionals
  • Solid experience leading vendor relationships to improve overall capabilities along with negotiating new service level agreements and securing additional services
  • Over ten years of proven experience collaborating with business users and understanding organizational needs in relation to IT systems.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management implementations including Salesforce
  • Solid understanding of Financial Services and Wealth Management industry
  • Experience in the creation and execution of a digital technology strategy
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to articulate complex issues or ideas clearly
  • Demonstrable experience in redefining and leading team effectiveness by adoption and application of Agile methodology (Scaled Agile Framework a plus)
  • Strong experience with modern web architecture, including React, and standard processes for large-scale frontend engineering such as continuous integration, continuous deployment, site performance testing, personalization, and web instrumentation.
  • Experience with AI Implementations with focus on end user digital deployments
  • UX/UI experience a plus

Location & Travel:

  • Hybrid Remote - 3 days a week at a Guardian Office in Holmdel, NJ; New York, NY; or Bethlehem, Pa.

Salary Range:

$178,690.00 - $293,560.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
