Purpose of the Role
The Head of Planning will define the future of how iProspect’s clients connect with their customers in an increasingly algorithm-driven world. This role is pivotal in shaping our planning approach, driving innovation and ensuring excellence across the agency.
As a strategic leader and trusted consultant, you will influence the work of all client planning teams, orchestrating how data, insights and creativity come together to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Working closely with senior leadership, including the Heads of Creativity, Investment, and our Chief Digital Officer, you will help evolve our planning frameworks and set best practices that inspire both clients and internal teams.
Your impact will be felt through consultancy for our largest clients, training and development across the agency and representing our capabilities in new business pitches. Success will be measured by team capability, client satisfaction (TRR scores) and new business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Build and nurture a high-performing community of planners across UK offices.
Drive consistency, quality and innovation in planning practices.
Develop strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor to our top-tier clients.
Collaborate with activation leaders to create progressive channel strategies.
Deliver award-winning, insight-led work that sets industry benchmarks.
Champion thought leadership by articulating emerging challenges and opportunities for clients and the agency.
Actively contribute to new business efforts and pitches.
Partner with Dentsu leaders to develop integrated services that drive client growth.
Qualifications + Skills
Extensive experience in comms planning within a leading media agency.
Proven ability to manage senior client relationships and deliver strategic media solutions across multiple disciplines and markets.
Strong consultative and strategic mindset with experience in process improvement and best-practice alignment across all facets of media planning.
Expertise in applying innovative, data-driven planning approaches supported by research and insight.
Demonstrated leadership and line management experience.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to inspire teams and clients alike.
