The Regional Supply Chain team is responsible for overseeing day-to-day supply chain activities within the region's markets. This encompasses responsibilities such as supply planning, logistics and fulfilment, warehouse management, inventory management. Their objective is to ensure the smooth flow of goods from market warehouses to customers while also striving to optimize costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
The Head of Global Supply Planning leads the translation of mid- and long-term demand forecasts into actionable production schedules, ensuring product availability and inventory levels meet business goals and customer expectations. In this role, you’ll collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and commercial teams—shaping robust supply planning strategies, influencing key stakeholders, and driving agile end-to-end supply chain operations throughout our global network.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate the supply network strategy and product portfolio into a master production schedule, ensuring seamless orchestration and execution of the supply plan and timely delivery to the markets.
Engage with senior leadership worldwide to communicate receipt plan updates, share key insights and priorities, highlight changes, and present effective mitigation strategies and solutions.
Collaborate closely with the Business Unit, Manufacturing Engineering and Outsourced Operations team to ensure optimal coverage and the accuracy of production schedules.
Coordinate with CMs and Material Assurance team to ensure schedules align with capacity and material availability.
Identify potential capacity constraints and bottlenecks in the mid- to long-term horizon and facilitate informed decision-making for the business.
Leverage advanced technology and analytics to conduct what-if analysis, creating realistic, feasible, and efficient production schedules.
Lead the achievement of KPIs by measuring and analysing root causes of supply planning metrics, reporting actionable insights, and ensuring consistent adherence to performance indicators Drive continuous improvement and tangible business results.
Lead a diverse, multi-site team of 10+, developing global talent and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture through strong leadership and coaching.
A minimum of bachelor’s degree majoring in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
Over 15 years of experience in long-term planning using key planning parameters within a multinational corporation and the FMCG sector.
Over 5 years of people management experience leading teams of 10+ in international environments.
Demonstrates a strong drive to find creative solutions to new challenges and effectively lead others through change and innovation.
Proficiency in advanced planning systems and supply chain software; experience with SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Ariba is advantageous.
Supply chain/operations certification a plus, such as APICS, CPIM or lean.
Excellent analytical and communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese is advantageous.
