Head of People
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of People to lead and evolve our People & Culture function. This is a pivotal senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering people strategies that enable business performance, strengthen culture, and support sustainable growth.
Partnering closely with the Executive and Senior Leaders, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the full employee lifecycle, while building a high-performing, engaged and future-ready workforce.
About the Role
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing People & Culture team
Develop and execute a People & Culture strategy aligned to business goals
Partner with Executives and Senior Leaders on all people-related matters
Drive organisational development, cultural initiatives and change programs
Oversee talent acquisition, succession planning and workforce capability
Lead learning and development strategies to build leadership and technical capability
Design and oversee remuneration and benefits frameworks aligned to market and performance
Ensure compliance with employment legislation across Australia and New Zealand
Manage complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations
Leverage people metrics and insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
Champion a safe, inclusive and values-driven workplace
About You
Extensive experience across senior HR leadership roles
Proven success developing and delivering people strategies aligned to business outcomes
Strong background in employee relations, industrial relations and risk management
Experience leading organisational change and cultural transformation
Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and develop high-performing teams
Strong analytical capability, with experience using people data and insights
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Deep knowledge of contemporary HR frameworks, policies and best practice
Experience working across Australia and New Zealand employment environments
