Major responsibilities:
- Handling Team of 110+ ( Direct 10Nos, Indirect 100+)
- Production Planning , execution for nuclear pumps components manufacturing in machine shop .
- Monitor and control proper loading and scheduling work for all work centres for effective utilization.
- Monitor and execute plan for zero rejection and rework of components.
- Maintain shop discipline ,5S, house-keeping, safety in machine shop.
- Lean implementation in machine shop.
- Initiate productivity improvement activity using new tools, CAM program etc.
- Develop skillset for EDM, Lapping, Polishing in machine shop.
- Develop new tools for production and machine monitoring for direct OEE measurement.
- co-ordination with planning purchase and assembly for achieving targets.
- New machine Selection, Negotiation & procurement planning for large VTL and HBM machine.
- Union Handling
- Knowledge of Machine Tools
- handling Subcontract activities
Professional experience: 15 to 20 years:
Education: BE (Mechanical)
Functional Competencies
- Knowledge machining process for CNC Turning boring, Milling ,Grinding ,
- knowledge of Tooling, Jigs fixture and gauges
- Knowledge of CAM , Process development on CNC using CAM .
- Knowledge of Lean mfg. process
- Knowledge of Process capability study .
- Knowledge of SAP-PP Module and MS Office
