In this senior commercial leadership role, you will own the strategy and performance of the Immunology franchise, translating deep understanding of care pathways and barriers into launches that deliver measurable outcomes.
Reporting to the Business Unit Director, you will lead cross-functional teams to scale solutions across indications, align local execution with global strategy, and shape how we partner with scientific societies and patient groups. Accountabilities:
- Therapeutic Area Market Context and Patient Journey: Define the immunology market context through a deep understanding of the patient journey and roadblocks from suspicion of illness to follow-up; convert insights into targeted interventions that improve experience and outcomes.
- Scientific and Patient Partnerships: Work with Medical and Patient Teams to build collaborations with scientific societies and patient advocacy groups, extending trust, reach and influence.
- Launch Leadership: Coordinate the Brand Team to design and implement pre-launch and launch activities; drive execution that delivers launch performance across current and future indications.
- Strategy and P&L Delivery: Develop and deploy local strategies aligned with global direction to achieve sales, profit and market share goals.
- Forecasting and Investment: Build robust forecasts on sales, profit, market share and investment strategy within agreed budgets; pressure-test scenarios and adjust quickly.
- Cross-Functional Brand Planning: Define franchise strategy and implement cross-functional brand plan processes, integrating Company/alliance and product objectives with market access implications.
- Communication and Promotion Excellence: Ensure effective product communication and promotional support; steward compliant materials that enable access and deliver margin and sales targets.
- Market Intelligence and Performance Insight: Lead ongoing market analysis (scenarios, trends, competitors) and monitor quantitative and qualitative product perception to inform decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead the Product Business Team to implement, monitor and course-correct brand plan actions; remove barriers and accelerate impact.
- Field Partnership: Work closely with sales leaders to identify opportunities and issues; convert field feedback into decisive action.
- Innovation and Omnichannel: Leads the digital evolution of the Immunology franchise by fostering a data‑driven culture and championing the adoption of advanced technologies — including AI — to elevate decision quality, accelerate execution and enhance engagement across stakeholders.
Integrates digital insights, analytics and predictive thinking into commercial, medical and go‑to‑market processes, ensuring a mature, scalable and compliant omnichannel approach aligned with global strategic direction.
- Compliance and Governance: Manage all activities and account relationships in line with Company Values, Code of Conduct, internal guidelines and applicable Italian legislation.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Responsible for marketing and strategic plans, sales results and competitive performance for Immunology franchise. You’ll have primary responsibility for marketing activities of assigned products to support company objectives
- Define TA Market Context through a deep understanding of the Patient Journey and key roadbloacks from suspect of Illness to pts follow up
- Work with Medical and PTs engagement in order to build a collaboration with TA Scientific Societies and PAGs
- Coordinate the Brand Team in order to Define and implement pre-lauch and launch activities, driving and delivering launch performance
- Developing and deploying local strategy in line with Global ones to achieve product business’s goals: sales, profit, and market share, both with current and future indications.
- Developing forecast on sales, profit, market share and investment strategy based on agreed budgets.
- Defining Franchise strategy through the implementation of cross functional brand plan process, considering Company/alliance and Product objectives
- Guaranteeing an effective product communication, promotional supports and implementation of Cross Functional Brand plan in order to reach sales objectives and margins, considering also the market access implications
- Assuring the market analysis (scenarios, trend, competitors, etc.) and monitoring the quantitative and qualitative product perception
- Leading cross functional Product Business Team in order to guarantee the effective implementation and monitoring of Brand plan actions
- Working closely with sales leaders to identify opportunities/issues
- Driving innovation in the business finding and implementing innovative approaches like Innovative Value Strategies and omnichannel
- Managing all activities and Account relationship according with Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures and Italian legislation
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Leadership experience in the Immunology therapeutic area across multiple indications
- Proven track record delivering pre-launch and launch excellence in complex, competitive markets
- Strong relationships with scientific societies and patient advocacy groups
- Expertise in omnichannel engagement and value-based strategies
- Artificial Intelligence literacy and Digital mindset
- Fluency in Italian and English; experience operating within Italian healthcare and regulatory environments
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
