ING Australia’s growing Wholesale Bank is looking to make a key hire in our sector coverage leadership team with the recruitment of a Head of Financial Institutions to be based in Sydney.
The Head of FI is responsible for the growth and development of the bank and Non-bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) business in Australia. This entails the development and execution of the FI business strategy in Australia working in close collaboration with local, regional and global product partners. This is a combined business leadership and senior coverage role.
We are looking for a senior financial institutions coverage (or perhaps debt capital markets) banker with strong relationships in the bank and insurance sectors, who is seen as a trusted expert by clients and can inspire, motivate and develop high performing senior bankers in their team.
The FI sector coverage team is one the highest performing teams in the Australian business. This hire will have a unique opportunity to take over a strong team and drive increased revenue production as part of our wider wholesale banking growth strategy.
