Your key responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Vision: Set the long term strategic direction for the European D2C GTM function, ensuring full alignment with Samsung’s global agenda while shaping a regionally differentiated strategy that drives competitive advantage for the D2C channel. Provide visionary leadership in unifying the MX and CE portfolios under a cohesive GTM framework, creating integrated data-driven market strategies that maximise commercial impact, deliver innovate propositions and elevate the customer experience across all European markets.
Product Launch Leadership: Lead the end-to-end D2C product launch strategy across MX and CE categories, ensuring every launch is market ready, locally relevant and fully aligned with D2C's strategic goals and HQ's direction. Set the strategic framework and governance for how D2C launches are planned, driven, and evaluated across Europe. Continuously evolve launch methodologies, introducing new processes, ways of working and best practices that elevate speed, consistency, commercial impact and sustainable D2C growth.
Cross Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment: Provide strategic leadership between HQ, European subsidiaries and regional functions, ensuring seamless alignment on the European D2C GTM vision, strategic priorities and execution plans. Shape and influence cross-functional agendas at senior level, resolving complex challenges through business insights and innovative problem solving. Drive a culture of effective collaboration and accountability, ensuring all stakeholders are working towards shared outcomes and operating to a unified GTM governance model.
Innovation & Challenge: Champion innovation by identifying new solutions and challenging conventional approaches. Embed "never been done before" ideas into business strategies to drive growth and set new benchmarks for D2C execution.
Performance Evaluation and Insights: Provide oversight of post launch performance and GTM effectiveness, leading the evaluation of KPIs and critical initiatives across all markets. Translate data and performance trends into clear, actionable insights that inform future roadmaps and influence senior leadership decision making. Set high standards of data led decision making, ensuring all opportunities for optimisation are identified and robust action plans are embedded to drive continuous improvement and continuous D2C growth.
Sales Management and Insights: Provide strategic oversight of D2C sales performance, ensuring clear targets, rigorous tracking and high-quality insights that guide decision-making on D2C profitability and overall D2C product mix. Align sales plans with product launches and promotional strategies to drive strong commercial outcomes across all European markets.
Regional Relevance: Represent the EO D2C perspective at global forums, ensuring global strategies are adapted to local market realities. Champion local consumer needs and embed them into launch plans to strengthen customer experience, commercial performance and profitability.
Control Tower Leadership: Set clear processes and alignment with HQ and regional divisional sales teams to guide direction and remove barriers to D2C executions. Serve as the central coordination point for all D2C GTM activities, ensuring consistent and effective delivery across markets. Provide regular readiness reporting and insights to senior leadership on D2C preparations and go live activity.
Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the full product lifecycle planning for D2C Europe, using data-driven insights to anticipate issues, unlock growth opportunities and shape strategic decisions with the European product teams. Ensure all launches align with the D2C vision, commercial/profitability objectives and timelines.
People Management: Lead and develop the D2C GTM team, ensuring your direct reports have the support and opportunities for professional growth. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture aligned with Samsung's values.
