Join the Private Bank Capital Markets team within the Banking, Lending and Investment Solution unit of the Private Bank division, based in Frankfurt with responsibility for the Structured Product offering across our German, Europe International and Europe Domestic franchises.

The Structured Product Team across the German, Europe International and Europe Domestic Business is approx. 20 persons with responsibility for significant annual revenues.

The product offering is diverse across all asset classes and includes products from low to high complexity

Key responsibilities

Being the leader of the Structured Products team, the candidate will be responsible for leading the business responsible for developing, launching and distributing Structured Products for the German, Europe International and Europe Domestic Regions of the Private Bank. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive the offering and growth strategies across our Public and Private Structured Product offering with a strong focus on the Wealth Management segment
  • Deliver an appropriate and best in class product offering for our Client Base to ensure alignment with their needs
  • Manage relationships with product manufacturers and the maintenance of distribution and collaboration agreement in line with the strategy designed by the Management of the Bank
  • Ensure a suitable product governance framework to meet internal and external stakeholder target market requirements
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure a product offering consistent with DB view, highly valued by clients and compliant with legal and regulatory standards
  • Develop and improve the Product Platform to support the growth initiatives
  • Work in close partnership with key internal Senior Management, Business stakeholders and DB Control functions

Skills and Experience:

  • Profound and proven experience in relevant functions within an Investment Bank or a Product Team in Wealth Management.  Deep Knowledge of Derivatives and Structured Products market, non-financial and financial risks and the regulatory framework (in particular MiFiD II, Prospectus regulation, PRIIPS and other local European regulations)
  • seasoned experience in communication with external clients, particularly in the UHNWI segment
  • Ability to cooperate and communicate effectively with the senior management of the Private Bank Division
  • Strong team player with ability to partner and to constructively influence colleagues across the whole product lifecycle from Relationship Managers to Product Governance to Operations
  • Client-oriented working style with a high attention to detail is prerequisite
  • Experienced and comfortable in the collaboration with Investment Banks
  • Proficient in German and English
