This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
The Head of Business Projects will lead, oversee, and manage strategic business initiatives across the organization. The role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring timely delivery of business-critical projects, and fostering collaboration to achieve organizational goals. This position plays a pivotal role in aligning projects with the company’s strategic objectives, managing resources effectively, and delivering measurable outcomes.
Principal Accountabilities:
Develop and implement a framework for managing business projects, ensuring alignment with organisational strategies.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify, prioritise, and execute strategic initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate project performance using metrics and reporting tools, ensuring continuous improvement.
Manage resources effectively, including budgets, timelines, and personnel, to optimize project outcomes.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence within the project teams.

Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Prince2, or similar).
In-depth understanding of business strategy, operations, and resource planning.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry (desirable).

Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
