Head of Brand & Regional Marketing (Fixed-term)

About the role
We are looking for a world-class marketer to lead our brand and regional marketing teams on a 12-month fixed term contract, while our current leader is on parental leave. If you like to lead by example, work collaboratively, and take a practical approach to brand building - this is the role for you. 

As Halter’s presence has grown in New Zealand, the United States and Australia, we’ve continued to see the importance of how we represent ourselves on a global and local stage. Any customer, regardless of their farm type or location, should feel connected to us as a company, and if you meet Halter at any event globally, you should be greeted by enthusiasm and authenticity. We are revolutionising farming, and we want farmers to feel connected to, and proud of, that journey! 

The ideal candidate for this contract has experience in global brands, has worked with regional marketing teams, and has led marketing teams in a scale-up company. Agricultural experience is a bonus. If you never shy away from a challenge, are passionate about the customer, and constantly connect brand activations to commercial results - then you will thrive with Halter. 

While this is a senior role with a strategic focus, we’re an agile team with a dynamic culture. As such, the right person is just as excited about executing as they are about setting the ideas. You will be able to transcend from high-level ambitions to detailed planning easily, and won’t have a problem with getting out on a farm or working the floor at events. We’re looking for a leader who goes beyond the big idea, to dive into execution, testing if it is working, re-adjusting based on results, and always looking for improvements. 

You will work closely with our VP Marketing and Growth, Performance Marketing and Product Marketing Leads, as well as your marketing leaders in each region. This role manages 3 regional marketers, 1 Brand manager and 1 Designer, based across all three of our markets. We are looking for someone that can bridge being a do-er, with being a player-coach.
