Position Summary:
CWAN is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Solutions Consulting for Alternative Investments. In this highly strategic role, we need an experienced individual to work on defining client needs and go-to-market strategies for our alternative’s investment segment. In this position, you will critically analyze the market, build insightful thesis on our competitive position, assist sales efforts, engage with strategic clients, and build go-to-market content. The ideal candidate will lead a team of solutions consultants, engage directly with clients and prospects, and provide in-depth insights into market trends and segment definitions within the alternative investments space.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
- Proactively cultivate strong client relationships, demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique business objectives and product requirements related to alternative investments.
- Conduct high-level consultations to understand client needs, challenges, and objectives, ensuring our offerings align with their strategic goals.
Market Insights:
- Analyze and define market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs in the alternative investments industry.
- Provide thought leadership by developing whitepapers, case studies, and presentations that highlight emerging trends and best practices.
Product Expertise:
- Collaborate closely with product development teams to provide feedback and insights that inform product strategy and enhancements.
- Serve as the primary SME for alternative investments products, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and resources to support clients effectively.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of solutions consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Set performance objectives and provide regular feedback to ensure team members are aligned with business goals and client expectations.
Strategic Contribution:
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of CWAN’s offerings in alternative investments, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance client experience and streamline the delivery of solutions.
Training & Development:
- Design and implement training programs for internal teams and clients to enhance understanding of alternative investment solutions and market trends.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars to educate clients on best practices and industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in solutions consulting, client engagement, or related roles within the financial services or alternative investments sectors.
- Proven expertise in alternative investments, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and venture capital.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data and trends.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client relationship management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a passion for coaching and team development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.
Salary range: $140k - $215k + bonus + RSUs
