What you will do:
Lead a team of MSAT Experts who are tasked with technology transfers (process implementation and transfer) and timely process implementation at our aseptic fill&finish line.
Manage the MSAT team with full responsibility for all aspects of human resource management. Build up and sustain a successful, high performing team. Maintain a culture of empowerment and innovation, trust, high performance and change readiness. Ensure effective use of resources (time, personnel, equipment, material, rooms)
Oversee the manufacturing related processes at the site, proactively anticipate, evaluate and resolves technical challenges. Enable innovation and technical strategy projects and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure the MSAT processes at Inspection readiness level and represent the facility during regulatory inspections and customer audits. Participates in customer visits and presentations.
Lead complex product and process related investigations and deviations including complaints actions. Uses scientific and statistical knowledge to analyze data to provide process understanding, and to identify root causes of product and process failures.
Support the DP Operations Head in developing, prioritizing and achieving goals with respect to the overall goals of Lonza and DPS (Drug Product Services)
Collaborate with the functions in the facility and across Drug Product Services with tech transfer, process development, product analytical development.
What we are looking for:
MSc or PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Process Engineering or equivalent scientific degree
Solid leadership experience of direct reports
Substantial experience in aseptic fill&finish processes of drug product is a must
Substantial experience with qualification and validation processes is a must
Experience in manufacturing processes of clinical as well as commercial batch sizes is an advantage
Work experience in MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology) is highly preferred
Fluency in English is a must, communication skills in German language are a plus
