What you will do:

Experienced Solution Architect with 10+ years of expertise in architecting, designing, and delivering end-to-end HCI, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure solutions across Server, Storage, VMware, Hyper-V, and Linux environments. Proven track record in leading large-scale deployments, modernization initiatives, and upgrade programs for HCI platforms including SimpliVity, Nutanix, and dHCI/PCBE (Nimble/Alletra). Strong focus on solution design, technical governance, performance optimization, and customer-centric delivery aligned to business outcomes.

Core Responsibilities (Solution Architect Focus)

  • Architect and design end-to-end HCI solutions for SimpliVity, Nutanix, and dHCI (Nimble/Alletra) customers.
  • Lead technical discovery workshops and translate business requirements into scalable infrastructure designs.
  • Own E2E deployment architecture, upgrade strategy, and migration planning.
  • Define high-level and low-level design (HLD/LLD) documents.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, SLAs, and customer criticality standards.
  • Provide architectural guidance during escalations and complex technical scenarios.
  • Drive technical solution reviews with regional stakeholders, escalation managers, and enterprise customers.
  • Contribute to knowledge management by documenting architecture patterns and best practices in SVT Knowledge Base.
  • Mentor peers and enable cross-team technical upskilling.
  • Ensure alignment to TCE and operational excellence metrics.

What you need to bring:

Virtualization & Hypervisor Architecture

  • Architecture, installation, and configuration of ESXi and vCenter Server (all supported versions).
  • Design and troubleshooting of vSphere clusters (HA, DRS, DPM, EVC).
  • Performance optimization and capacity planning for VMware environments.
  • Strong understanding of Hyper-V and clustering architectures.
  • VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) design for DR solutions.
  • VM lifecycle management, snapshots, and migration strategies.

HCI & Converged Infrastructure

  • Solution architecture for:
    • HPE SimpliVity
    • Nutanix HCI
    • HPE dHCI/PCBE (Nimble / Alletra)
  • VMware vSAN design and optimization.
  • SAN/NAS/DAS storage architecture.
  • HPE Blade & Rack server infrastructure design.
  • Infrastructure modernization and consolidation strategies.

Storage & Networking

  • Deep understanding of SAN technologies and storage best practices.
  • VLAN design, jumbo frames, flow control configuration.
  • Analysis of switch logs and network troubleshooting.
  • IDS/IPS awareness and secure infrastructure design.

Linux & Automation

  • Working knowledge of Linux fundamentals (VI editor, directory structures, scripting basics).
  • PowerCLI automation for VMware administration.
  • Basic database understanding (SQL/PostgreSQL) for infrastructure integrations.

Architecture & Delivery Competencies

  • End-to-end solution ownership from design to implementation.
  • Infrastructure assessment and migration planning.
  • Risk analysis and mitigation strategy development.
  • Performance benchmarking and capacity forecasting.
  • Disaster recovery architecture planning.
  • Large-scale enterprise transformation support.
  • Documentation of architectural standards and reusable design patterns.

Business & Leadership Skills

  • Strong executive and customer-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with CXO-level stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional collaboration across global technology teams.
  • Customer-first mindset with emphasis on business continuity.
  • Ownership of complex L3/L4 escalations with architectural remediation.
  • Experience working in global 24x7 enterprise environments.
  • Continuous improvement mindset aligned with HPE operational standards.
