Job Details:
This position is responsible for operating machinery and maintaining product flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson's policies and procedures.
Operator – Hatchery
The operator will operate the Embrex vaccinators. They are responsible for a.m. cycles before operation and, p.m. cycles after vaccination. Operators will keep the vaccine mixed for machines and assure contract labor perform the task by company standards. Must be able to document mixing and vaccine preparations for accountability and, follow all MP-PVP guidelines as well as Animal Welfare protocol.
Requirements:
Standing for 8 to 10 hours per day
Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 70 lbs.
Includes lifting, pulling, pushing, squatting, climbing, bending, reaching, rolling buggies
Able to work in wet and/or humid conditions.
Able to work in an environment where the noise level is usually loud.
Wear all PPE’s as required
Candidate must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl to be considered.
Approximately 10-hour shifts
Normal days of operation are Sun. Tues. Wed and Sat. 3 am until the shift is completed.
Compensation: $19.05/hr.
