About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Portfolio Manager (Lead Secured Lending Underwriter) to manage a portfolio of Key Accounts Purchase (KAP) and Supplier Finance relationships.
This role integrates program execution, on-going credit underwriting, and portfolio risk management into a single coverage model and serves as the primary point of accountability for program risk and performance.
This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic corporate clients utilizing Key Account Purchase (KAP) and Supplier Finance solutions. The Lead (The Lead Portfolio Manager) acts as the product and execution lead for complex client relationships, ensuring flawless delivery, strong utilization, disciplined risk management, and continuous value realization for clients and their supplier ecosystems.
The role sits within a high‑performing product specialist organization and serves as a trusted advisor to clients, coverage partners, and senior leadership. The Specialist (Lead Portfolio Manager) partners closely with Sales, Relationship Management, Credit, Operations, Technology, and Risk to structure, implement, optimize, and scale working capital solutions that align with client objectives and the firm’s balance sheet, risk, and growth priorities.
