The Team

The Finance team is at the heart of Liberis operations. Our mission is to support the future growth of the company by:

  • Providing insightful financial information to management and investors
  • Developing a scalable finance platform capable of ensuring proper oversight and compliance

We are currently a team of seventeen, based in London and India with responsibility for partnering with our Global operational teams.  You’ll join a dynamic, fast paced innovative team, made up of enthusiastic and experienced finance professionals. You’ll help us drive business performance by continually challenging our ways of working, developing a best-in-class accounts payable process.  Excellent training and development opportunities are available for high performing candidates.

 

The Role

You are a qualified accountant who is keen to work in a rapidly evolving business – providing business insight and ensuring our standards and compliance are best-in-class. You’ll thrive on process innovation and challenging the status quo to achieve great results.

What you’ll be doing

  • Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts and supporting analysis
  • Ownership of group balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balances
  • Assist in the preparation of the consolidated management accounts and reporting for the Board and external investors;
  • Management of the SAP system to meet the developing needs of the business, maintaining the chart of accounts and other masterdata and managing internal controls;
  • Work closely with the People team to further develop overseas payroll processes;
  • Assist with company’s auditors during the interim and yearend review to confirm the transactions and balances reported in the financial statements;
  • Support the Financial Reporting team in the processing of accounts payable, bank payments and reconciliations;
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects including fundraising, forecasting and business development.

What we think you’ll need

  • A qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with up to (roughly) 2 years’ experience post qualification – we are open to backgrounds both in industry or practice!
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance requirements
  • Outstanding spreadsheet skills and knowledge of financial reporting systems (preferably SAP)
  • A track record of process improvement and innovation
  • Demonstrates ambition and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
