Job Summary: NIST is seeking a Grants Sub Team Lead responsible for the management of financial assistance (Grants, Cooperative Agreements, and Other Transaction Agreements) administered for NIST and other Department of Commerce Bureaus. Major Duties:
Qualifications: To qualify, applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level (ZA-III for NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience: Managing federal acquisition or financial assistance (grants, cooperative agreements, and/or other transaction authority) awards; Providing advice to senior staff regarding the need for, or implementation of new and modified policy and procedures; and Leading and coordinating projects or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
