Salary Range: $107446 - $139684 Per Year

Job Summary: This position is located in the Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Business Center (BC), Grants & Agreements Division. The incumbent's primary duties and responsibilities are to provide support to the Branch Chief and assist with policy development.

Major Duties:

  • The primary duties and responsibilities are to provide support to the Branch Chief and assist with policy development, pre-award review, execution, and post award administration of Grants, Cooperative Agreements, and Cooperative Support Agreements.
  • Memorandum of Understanding and Agreements and Inter/Intra-agency Agreements.
  • The work includes a range of Federal Assistance specializations, such as negotiation, cost and price analysis, and administration.

Specialized Experience Requirement Specialized Experience for the GS- 14 level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience in the Grants Management field equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience that demonstrates a wide range of grant program and agreement policies and regulations, including techniques in grant development, overseeing application, award and evaluation processes sufficient to initiate inter-intra-Agency agreements, cooperative and other agreements, evaluate progress and determine consistency and compliance with program objectives.
