Job Description:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieved quality projects' requirements and met the projects desired goals Implementation
- Number of projects achieved the desired goal as described in projects agreements and met the donors' requirements
- Number of projects monitoring results were utilized by the decision makers and met the needs of vulnerable
- Number of quality report produced as requirements of donors
- Number of detailed Project implementation plans developed
- Number of Projects that were monitored
- Number of staff members whose capacity in monitoring and evaluation system strengthened
Liaison with Donors/Support Offices
- Donors/SOs queries are responded within a reasonable period of time.
- Donors/SOs requests, feedback and strategies are shared with projects Managers and the ADP teams within a reasonable period of time.
- Timely sharing to Donors/SOs on updated development of the Projects and conduct necessary negotiations with respective Donors/SOs.
- Communicate with Donors/SOs for funding commitment are approved on timely basis.
Program Quality Enhancement
- Number of feedback and inputs provided to Project proposal developed by Grant Acquisition Team
- Number of initiatives provided for project proposal
- Number of lessons learnt provided for project proposal
- Number of optimizations in terms of manpower as well as program and budget in the proposal
Department Management
- Number of staff performed well on their assigned roles and responsibilities
- Quality of the Grants Management Department and Operations Division
- Knowledge gained and resources linked
- Carry out or engage task with good judgement and responsibly.
- Perform additional duties and assignments proactively
- By actively participating with manager in producing a relevant and jointly agreed development plan
- The plan will identify key areas which will assist in personal and professional development consistent with World Vision’s strategic goals
- By demonstrating an understanding of and commitment to World Vision’s Core Values in the approach to work and relationships
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
- Minimum 5 years managerial experience in humanitarian industry and other related fields is essential
- Experience of Project Management and Engaging with Donor organizations is essential
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline is essential and master's degree in public Engagement is preferred
- Knowledge of Project Cycle Management
- Good planning and organizing skill
- Based at the National Office with some travelling expected
- Good command of Myanmar & English
