The Marsh Risk Graduate Program has been designed with this in mind: to start a permanent contract with an intensive 18-month experience, aiming at attracting and developing the next generation of leaders. You will have the opportunity to discover the different facets of our business. From day one, you will take on real responsibility as you develop your knowledge and skills, tackle real projects, and work with our clients.
About the department :
The Marine, Cargo and Logistics department will connect you directly to global trade, international business and the maritime world. You will rotate through our different teams to discover where your strenghts and interests lie.
Marine insurance plays a huge role in global trade, since most goods worldwide are transported by sea. It is a specialized type of insurance that protects against losses or damages to vessels, cargo, and other maritime-related assets. There are several types of marine insurance, each designed to address specific risks.
Hull insurance covers the physical damage to a vessel from ship collisions to machinery breakdowns, while cargo insurance protects the goods being transported against loss or damage caused by risks such as storms , fire, incidents, etc. during the voyage and/or during storage. Marine liability insurance, on the other hand, protects against third-party claims, damages and legal responsibilities at sea.
Marine insurance is crucial in the commercial trade and is actually a tool to facilitate business globally.
About the Program
